Hello and welcome to The Glam Nomad!  My name is Emily and I'm a twenty-something sales professional working in the travel industry.  I started this blog in November of 2010 when the lease on my rental home ended and I decided to sell my things, live out of my car, and sleep on friends' couches to pay off my credit card debt (woops!) and fund my favorite hobby- travel!  You can read more about my decision and journey here.

My boyfriend and I just bought our first home in Dallas, Texas and are looking forward to flipping it in the not-too-distant future.
